During your 3 year apprenticeship you will learn how to plan the production processes and ensure the maximum productivity of the machinery and equipment. You monitor the production process and in the case of breakdowns or malfunctions you will quickly and purposefully intervene to ensure the shortest downtime. Eliminating sources of error and minor repair work are also among your tasks. You ensure that the products comply with the quality requirements, regulations and customer requirements and you ensure that the hygiene regulations are always adhered to.

Requirements: Secondary qualification (B or C) with perfect conduct, good grades in mathematics and enjoyment in technology. Likewise, you are characterised by manual skill as well as accurate and careful work.

Job Description

Electronics Engineers in Manufacturing Engineering install electrical components and equipment for electrical power supply, industrial facilities or buildings and automation systems. They design system changes and expansions, install wiring systems and power supplies, set up machines and drive systems and install control units. In addition, they program, configure and test systems and safety installations. They also monitor the facilities, regularly maintain them, carry out regular checks and repair them when faulty. They also organise the installation of equipment and monitor the work carried out by third parties and other groups. The Work

Bachelor of Arts Business Administration is responsible for customer support, consultancy and sales, market surveying and observation, planning, deployment and control of marketing tools, processing and monitoring of payment transactions, operating statistics, personnel administration and management, and accounting and costing. When selecting the suppliers, they take into account purchasing prices, conditions, quality and term accuracy. They use the EDP system more intensively to control the entire flow of goods using fully integrated merchandise management systems.
The main tasks are sales, finance, accounting and human resources.

 

 

The Study

In addition to the economic fundamentals, the specific contents are split in four different areas.

 

  • Controlling / Finance and Accounting
    Differentiated knowledge in the areas of balance sheet analysis, consolidated financial statements, financial and investment management, value-oriented management, key figure systems and in various systems of cost and performance accounting (e.g. direct costing, target costing, process cost accounting) are taught.
  • Marketing / Sales management
    Mediation of approaches to the explanation of customer behavior, brand and advertising management, strategic and operational marketing planning, industrial goods marketing, marketing controlling, methods of market research, online marketing, CRM as well as sales management and sales controlling.
  • Materials Management / Production Management
    Purchasing, Logistics and Sales require knowledge of strategic and operational procurement planning, supplier and contract management, inventory management, production planning and control as well as e-logistics, quality management, supply chain management and logistics control.
  • Human Resources
    Personnel management is mainly concerned with personnel planning, personnel development, personnel selection, labor law, remuneration, international human resource management, employee management and social insurance.

 

 

The Duration

The three-year course ends with 210 ECTS points and the academic degree

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

 

 

The Requirements

Applicants for a dual degree program in industry should have good grades in the fields of German, mathematics, business administration and foreign languages. To be motivated, persevering, resilient, committed and flexible form good prerequisites.
