Efficacy

Idea and Background

PERLAZID® keeps critical surfaces free of germs: PERLAZID® works as a Trojan horse: PERLAZID® is based on tricalciumphosphate (TCP) with a very low dose of silver (Ag) and copper (Cu). It is well known that silver (Ag) kills bacteria and fungi, whereas copper (Cu) especially kills fungi. The receptors of the germs recognize TCP as food and smuggle the low-dose active ingredient into the interior of the cell. Finally, all molecules containing sulfur (S) are attacked and destroyed by Ag and Cu. It creates silver sulfide. Thus, the cell is killed at the surface (and not denatured). The "waste", or the resulting products are biocompatible. Thus, the surfaces protects itself against germs!
